CLIFFSIDE PARK — The first residents of the 14-story luxury condominium building, One Park, are set to move in next week.

The 204-unit building sits on top of the Palisades cliffs overlooking Edgewater and the Hudson River and offers a clear view of the New York City skyline.

The architectural firm, Architectura, which designed One Park, took full advantage of its unique view and designed a glass window wall façade to see the skyline.

It’s that very same view and neighborhood that made China and Manhattan based-DMG Investments pick Cliffside Park and this location three years ago, Jacky He, executive vice president of DMG said at the official ribbon cutting Thursday.

All the amenities offered on the waterside in Edgewater still aren’t far in distance to One Park, He said.

“Living on the water can be annoying, but now residents can have the same experience and live in a quiet environment,” He said. The units, excluding the duplex penthouses, range from one to four bedrooms between 752 to over 1,600 square feet. Price listings starting in the $500,000s, which all feature their own outdoor space.

The four duplex penthouses range from $3 million to just under $4 million. The duplexes include one, three-bedroom, four-bath unit that is just over 2,000 square feet and three, four-bedroom, three bathroom units that are 2,983 square feet and start at $3.8 million.

A three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit over looking the skyline was just sold for $1.45 million.

The building is 30 percent sold, but He said his team is working on a sales strategy to increase activity as soon as possible.

The building is the first large-scale residential property built in the borough in a generation.

“Its completion paves the way for the borough to firmly state its claim as the next premier Hudson River Gold Coast destination,” He said.

Mayor Thomas Calabrese helped cut the ribbon for the grand opening and said he was thankful that DMG invested in their community.

“I’m looking forward to welcoming our new residents and hope they become active in the community,” said Calabrese.

Amenities

There are over 25,000 square-feet of outdoor and indoor amenities including an aquatic center, fitness center, golf simulator, children’s playroom, pet spa and guest suites.

The fitness center has a private pilates room and squash court. The aquatic center features a 55-foot heated pool with sauna and steam rooms. There is also an adjoining outdoor sundeck.

The roof is furnished and includes a dining terrace with grilling stations, fire pits, seating areas and outdoor movie theater.

The building also has a 24-hour doorman.

‘A vending machine for cars’

Gone are the days of parking on the top floor of a parking garage at night then walking to your home. The 326 space Unitronics Parking system is “valet without the valet.”

Residents will be able to pull into a port, which is large space and ADAcompliant, turn off their car, take their keys and leave, footsteps away from the front door.

After leaving the port, the resident will then enter their information into a kiosk and the garage will park the car on its own.

“It stores cars in a much more efficient and space saving way,” Yair Goldberg, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Unitronics said. “It’s the concept of a vending machine, but for your car.”

When residents wants to retrieve their cars they can enter their information at the lobby or from an application on their phone. They will then be told how long it will take and when their car is ready.
